You can dream;
you can fall,
but your dream
can become a big dream.
If you do not dream,
you need to start to dream.
It will come in life.
If you do not believe me,
ask your heart,
and I know it will say
yes.

My Dream Is Me by Patricia
My dream is me;
it’s what I want to be.
It’s everything I believe in;
it’s what I love.
My dream is me;
it’s what I want to do,
for me not for you.
This is true.
My dream is up to me,
So you do you and I’ll do me.
this will always be my dream.
My dream is all about me,
and it’s what I want to do for all my life.

Glorious Light by Amanuel
The Dream is the future of humanity.
It will be the road to sanity.
The blind can see the dream,
for their eyes will redeem,
thanks to my dream.
The Dream will sing
like the shine of a diamond ring.
The Dream shines such a glorious light
that those who can see lose their sight.
The Dream is the lead of technology,
the lead of psychology.
The Dream is the lead to success,
the end of political mess.
The Dream will make the dead
see the end of dread.
The Dream will put on a beautiful smile
that shines more than a mile.
The Dream will be never ending,
more likely beginning,
like an eagle soaring
and a lion roaring.
Other dreams that are hated
will be baited.
Other dreams that are praised
will get a chance to let the dead be raised.
The Dream will send haters
to the moon’s craters.
The haters will soar high
with a dreadful and hateful tie.
The Dream will be spoken in Tennessee,
spoken in Tallahassee,
spoken in Kentucky,
spoken so much people aren’t so sucky.
The Dream that is supposed to shine,
yes, that same dream, is mine.
Just Like Me by Chianna
My dream is me.
My dream is just for me.
My dream is sweet,
just like me.
My dream is a precious dream.
My dream is meant to be.
My dream is the world
to me.
My dream is beautiful.
My dream is awesome to me.
Therefore, I will always dream
the one and only dream.
Love by Jaylen
My mother is a god.
She is beautiful.
I love her so much.
I love my family, too.
My grandma, my mom, and my sister
I love the most.
Our hearts whisper to one another
everytime we are near.
I love when
I hang out with them;
I feel so love.
When they are proud of me,
I feel so happy.
One of my dreams is to cure nickel.
If I accomplish this dream,
which I know I will,
they will be super proud of me.
I am going to explain
what nickle is,
so listen up.
I was born with nickel
and did not know it,
but when I came to TN,
I started getting bumps.
So my mom took me to the doctor;
they said that I had nickel.
I am alergic to things that grow from the ground
and metal.
I'm a Fifth Grader Dreamer by Kimberly
I am a fifth grader
that will not joke her dream.
I am a fifth grader
that will not lose her game.
I am a fifth grader
whose dream is like an ocean wave.
I am a dreamer
that wants to keep dreaming
and reach my most important dream.
I am a dreamer
that will care about her dream.
I am a fifth grade dreamer
that will not give up on her dream.

What Are Dreams? by Jordan
Dreams, Dreams,
what are dreams to me?
They shower me with victory,
and wish me good luck while
I’m on my way to being successful
in life.
Dreams to me walk me down the right path
to a great successful college,
that gives me more knowledge and experience.
Dreams lead you on the path to success,
and to a good education.
And not to a bad place where some people don’t care.
But I can tell you right now,
don’t follow bad kids just because they act cool
and wear cool clothes.
Follow your heart and make your dreams come true,
because dreams are a good thing to think about in middle school.
And if you work hard and make good choices,
your dreams will come true.
I promise you that if you study and listen in class,
those dreams will finally become a reality and not
just a dream.
Dreams are important to me,
because I don’t hang out with the wrong crowd.
You’re going to make your dreams come true.
To teachers and parents,
you have taught and raised me the best that you could,
so now let me prove to you that my dreams will come true.
So when you get home,
ask your parents if they
ever had a dream when they were little.
And maybe their dream came true,
just by having you,
and having a family with you in it.
Dreams, Dreams,
that is my dream.
I by Kayla S.
I love to sing
while the bells ring.
I start to rhyme
when I see a chime.
As time goes by,
I don’t cry.
I follow my dream
with my team.
My dreams are very neat,
and I know we’ll meet.
I love to rhyme
all the time.
I lay my head
upon my bed.
I start to dream
of... everything.
Blacks Can by Zahnius
They say we can't;
I say we can.
We can read;
we can write.
I know we can.
I have sight;
I see it.
I know one thing.
I'm black, too.
I can read and write.
If I couldn't,
would I write this?
Is there something wrong with us?
No, it's just a broken system,
not us.
We're smart,
and I say:
We can.
Blacks can.
We all can.
I can!
I'm gonna tell you how we can.
Because Jackie Robinson did it,
and Muhammad Ali did it.
So I say
we all can!
I Grew Up Alone by Judith
I grew up alone,
where my family roams.
I grew up alone,
where my family goes.
I grew up alone,
where my family is short.
I grew up alone,
where my family knows.
I grew up alone,
without a home.
I grew up alone,
without no who, what, where.
I grew up alone,
where my family rolls.
I grew up alone,
without no you.
I grew up alone,
but that doesn’t mean I don’t know.
I grew up alone,
so I don’t care.
I grew up alone,
so I could go.
I grew up alone,
so this is me and only me.
I grew up alone.
I open my eyes,
and I see it’s you.
I grew up alone,
and I see that you are back.
Thank you,
Mom and Dad,
for everything you have done.
That right there is my dream;
thank you so much.
A Chance by Donia
My life is like a cookie;
it crumbles every day.
Although it is my life,
I have nothing to say.
I have a chance to do everything.
I can fulfil my dreams and become a technical engineer,
or I could sit here and be sincere.
People have doubt.
They say I won’t have enough time,
but I won’t let my time run out.
I will inspire people
to reach new heights.
People will look at me,
and think I am bright.
I will inspire people to be anything
they wanna be,
so when they look in my eyes
they can see everything inside of me.
I will prove my self to everybody,
so they can see I did it!
My Goal in Life by Justin
I want to play in the NFL,
and run down the field,
tackling people to the ground.
I'll get to go all over the U.S.A.
That is the best I say.
I will rock the crowd.
That is what i say.
I’m gonna play every down.
I’ll get paid to do what I love;
I’ll get paid big bucks.
Nothing will stop me;
Nothing will get in my way.
I will win the Super Bowl, and go down in history.
Important by Toccara
My dream is important,
because when I grow up,
I want to have my own fashion store
for people to buy clothes from me.
My dream is important to me,
as important as getting good grades,
because my grades are important, too.
Every time I look at fashion stores or clothes,
they look at me and say,
“I wish you made me.”
My dream is important ,
because I want people
to be inspired by me,
and to love my clothes.
My dream is important to me today,
and I don’t care what other people say,
because...
my dream is IMPORTANT to ME!
