I Grew Up Alone by Judith

I grew up alone,

where my family roams.

I grew up alone,

where my family goes.

I grew up alone,

where my family is short.

I grew up alone,

where my family knows.

I grew up alone,

without a home.

I grew up alone,

without no who, what, where.

I grew up alone,

where my family rolls.

I grew up alone,

without no you.

I grew up alone,

but that doesn’t mean I don’t know.

I grew up alone,

so I don’t care.

I grew up alone,

so I could go.

I grew up alone,

so this is me and only me.

I grew up alone.

I open my eyes,

and I see it’s you.

I grew up alone,

and I see that you are back.

Thank you,

Mom and Dad,

for everything you have done.

That right there is my dream;

thank you so much.

  1. Judith, parents are truly a blessing and I see you love them very much. Good job and keep up the good work ;-)
