I have dreamed
of a friend
of a friend
who will be next to my side
no matter what.
Then, you learn that some people aren’t
what you expect,
and they betray you.
You feel like you failed your dream.
You don’t realize
that it already came true.
You feel like you're actually someone now,
and you would do anything
just for that person.
Next thing you know,
that person is out of your sight.
You guys act like strangers to each other.
You feel like you’re losing it,
and just think about what went wrong.
You realize the person you least expect
is right in front of you
Then, you think
I had a true friend all this time.
